An intentional sanctuary, taking the wadis of the UAE as inspiration, where native and desert species have become habitat and food for a family of tortoises that have made this garden home, as well as an intricate tapestry of texture and form. 

A passage of copper slate, reflective like a stream of water, leads to a snug atmospheric oasis of native grasses and shrubs, reigned over by majestic Olea europaea, a nod to the family’s Levantine origins and their love of sculpture.

The garden frames and speaks to the home’s beautiful interiors, and its impressive collection of contemporary art.
